An invitation graphicYou find yourself struggling, as we all do at times, and want to talk things out. And that is what I have been actively engaged in doing for the past 30 years as a Clinical Psychologist.

It never fails to amaze me how people have the capacity to change: to develop their inner resources, leading with their strength and maneuvering past their areas of conflict.

Choosing a therapist is quite a significant decision in your life.   So I invite you to read on to learn about my point of view, how I think and work, and how you might benefit from it. I hope this helps you come to an informed decision about whether i am the therapist who would best suit you.

Psychotherapy:
Partnering with you:

Adultsof all ages. Traditional talk therapy tailored to your goals.

An interactive two-way dialogue founded on the trusting relationship between us. A distinctly different relationship from any other. The focus is on you. – Can be of shorter or longer duration.

Couples/ Marital Relationships:

How did we get here? From strengthening understanding & empathy, learning to manage differences, recognizing misunderstandings, and reviving that all-important benefit of the doubt.

Adolescents:

Can be a volatile and confusing period in life: sorting out emotions and building identity. Peer pressure and questions about the future can be overwhelming. Providing support and hope. Reducing self-doubt and developing an idea of self and a way to be.

Single-Focus Counseling:

Together we focus and narrow our energy on a single, highly-defined decision or choice to be made by you. Typically, significantly fewer sessions.
